There isnt any other shrimp in the tank that can support a whole pellet on their own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Welcome to the Opae ula forum! That's a great photo of the soon to be mom! She must really enjoy the food you are providing

What are you feeding them?

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome.

I'm feeding them shrimp wafers by "Ocean Nutrition" and the occasional uncooked zuchinni. I used to give them spiru-max from "Ocean Free" as well but stopped as i found it would dirty the white sand bed.

I found this to be a very welcoming and informative forum. It sounds like your little shrimp are well fed. I hope to learn more about your little pets.

More photos of your tank are always welcome, it must be healthy as your shrimp are reproducing!

Well definitely more healthy than the "Jar Ecosystem" that my initial 5 came in! Previously i gave some of the babies away to others but discovered that they would set them up in jar ecosystems again, so i stopped. I'll update with a few more pics when i get back tonight

Hey guys, as promised! It's a cube tank i've had running for a year plus now, got it hooked up to a mini canister filter that runs 150l/hr.

I recently added the breeder's box on the left to keep the gravid moms so they deposit the babies in there and not in the main tank where they may get sucked up into the filter. However one of the moms got so stressed she molted with her brood, so i put em back into the main tank and will scoope the babies into the box when they drop.
