Mine go crazy for the spirulina powder. It floats on top & all the opae come out and start swimming upside down till it's all gone. If I want to see if there's berried femails this is one way for me to get them out. I have tried variuos pellet foods which don't have the same reaction.
wont the powder dissolves in the water?
From my experience, if you pour the powder on top of the water surface, it would stay on top and maybe only 5% would desolve into the water.
I've also tried Odin's method (shown in a video on another thread) mixing spirulina powder and tank water in a cup, then using a syringe to pump it into the middle of the tank water level. Following which i would see the shrimps doing roller coaster eating the food.
