Thanks, it's not new but I opened up the blind to let some light in that sits behind the tank so that's probably helping.

I removed alot of hair algae from tank #03 (which is the only one with it at the moment) today, this much  The algae in the sand and on the tank walls comes away easy but on the rocks its pretty baked on so bring on the snails!!!
I also added all 4 of my new zebra nerites to help clean up the tank of algae, ive taken some before photos so hopefully in a few weeks time i can add the after photos to see how good of a job they did.
I acquired some chaeto a few months back which had so far stayed alive so I transferred it to my main tank (#03), i put it in the feeding dish so i can remove it if it dies.

They are really tearing into the algae! I am tempted to buy a few more to speed up the process then move them to some of my smaller tanks when it all gets on top of.

I've spotted 3 large snail eggs tonight, i doubt they will ever hatch but the new zebra snails must be happy with the water parameters.
