On page 70, it talks about the genetic Opae Ula population found in Kapapa Island on O'ahu is genetically identical to the West Hawaii lineage in the Big Island. Somehow this Opae Ula population made it's way 200 miles away.
Any hypothesis? I think early Hawaiian's brought it over as food and traveled from Oahu to the Big Island to try to have a population there to grow as food.

Why wouldn't the Opae Ula share his food? Because he was a little shellfish
